The joy and gratification of being able to help kids find success and freedom through education is why I love working with the Albany Public Schools Foundation. It's a great organization, doing great things for the community.

Education has always been important to me. I enjoy giving of my time to help in any small way that will benefit the children of our community.

I have always had a passion for education & feel fortunate to be a part of a group that helps improve learning opportunities for the children in our community!

I believe that supporting APSF is important because better funding for education leads to better opportunities for students, and when students have better opportunities it leads to a better place for all of us.

I care about our community and kids. Investing in our children's educations has a great return rate.

Education has always been very important to me. My mother was a teacher in the Seattle School District for over 30 years and imparted upon myself and my siblings the value of education and how critical of a tool it can be in today’s world. I have been on the receiving end of the advantages gained by those children with access to additional educational resources. The desire to give back to the educational community and the ability to aid in the provision of these resources to all children is what drove my desire to be involved with APSF.

As a proud Dad of two daughters that thrived in the Albany Public Schools system, I wanted to do something to give back and help other students reach their goals and beyond.

With the cost of post-secondary education spiraling beyond what your average person can afford, communities like ours can come together to help pay for students' education beyond high school.

As a retired educator, working with the Foundation allows me to continue helping students to reach their potential.

I have always loved and focused on children. Helping them is fun and helps our future.
