Special Circumstance Grants provide flexibility for projects that come up outside of the normal APSF grant cycles. Applications must be for projects for which the opportunity came up unexpectedly, not needs that could have been foreseen in one of the regular grant cycles. Past examples include travel funding for a middle school choir that was invited to sing at Carnegie Hall.
